Description
A special event that is exclusive for admitted students, Accepted Student Day is a great opportunity for students to learn more about what Coastal Georgia can offer. Attendees will have a change to tour campus facilities, meet with financial aid, meet future classmates, interact with faculty from academics, and more. The event will take place from 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM.

Accepted Student Day is an exclusive event for students who have been admitted to the College of Coastal Georgia. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore all that the college has to offer and take the next steps toward your enrollment. During this event, you’ll have the chance to:
- Meet with campus administrators and faculty
- Explore the Mariner Marketplace, where you can learn about academic programs
- Have one-on-one meetings with a member of the Financial Aid team
- Connect with your COMPAS Academic and Career Advisor
- Discover more about student life
- Tour campus housing and more!
This is a wonderful opportunity to visit the campus before orientation and get a feel for life at the College of Coastal Georgia.
The schedule is designed to help you make the most of your day. You’re welcome to participate in the sessions that are most relevant to you. We encourage students to arrive early to fully enjoy the event!
8:30 AM – 9:00 AM Check-In
9:00 AM – 9:35 AM Opening Session
9:45 AM – 10:30 AM Meeting w/ Academic Program
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM Mariner Marketplace
10:30 AM – 12:30 PM Coastal chats (think TedTalk, but Coastal Style)
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Lunch w/ Campus Leaders
11:00 AM – 1:45 PM Campus & Housing Tours
This event is exclusively for students who have been admitted to the College of Coastal Georgia for future terms.
While Accepted Student Day is not required, it is strongly encouraged! It's a great way to get a head start on your college experience. Please note, however, that it does not replace orientation.
We suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes, bringing a notebook, and preparing any questions you may have. We encourage you to wear your favorite Coastal blue!
Yes, free parking is available on campus. No parking pass required.
Absolutely! Your family is welcome to join you. Students may bring up to 4 guests, with the average group size being 2. Feel free to bring your questions and enjoy the event together!
If you plan to arrive the day before, there are plenty of accommodation options available. The Golden Isles Convention and Visitor’s Bureau offers a comprehensive list of places to stay.
