Questions & Answers
Transfer & Adult Freshman Orientation at the College of Coastal Georgia is designed to help transfers or adult freshman aged 24 or older transition smoothly into college life. During orientation, you'll learn about the campus, its resources, and what to expect.
- Incoming Freshmen: Orientation is mandatory. The information you provide during registration will be used by COMPASS Career & Academic Advising to create your class schedule before orientation.
- Incoming Transfer Students: Orientation is optional, but you can join if you want. To enroll, you need to complete the Newly Admitted Student Advising Connection Form.

Yes, there are fees associated with orientation. There is a $80 orientation fee charged to all students and a $15 guest fee for all guests, regardless of age. Orientation fees will be charged to your student account after attending orientation.
